Sonoma County Conference   April 12, 2008

Research shows that girls who attend just one EYH conference take more advanced math and science classes in high school and have more positive attitudes about math and science than young women who do not attend, whether they intended to or not.

No Donation Is Too Small

  • $30 funds two scholarships
  • $250 funds one school bus to transport students to the conference
  • $200 funds supplies and postage for yearly EYH registration materials
  • $500 funds annual production of EYH materials for young women
  • $500 funds student bags to carry conference materials

Wish List For 2008 Conference

  • Scholarship funds ($15.00 each)

  • School bus funding to transport students to the conference

  • Postage for registration materials

  • Conference materials funding for the students

  • Event insurance funding

  • 10 volunteers are needed to help presenters at check-in

Julie Silk, julie_silk@agilent.com, or call her at 707.577-4296 and volunteer to serve on the conference organizing committee, be a role model and workshop presenter, help out on the day of the conference with registration, lunch, directing girls to workshops, and many other opportunities.
